Last Saturday Kelly and I went and did at couple laps out at Rustler's Loop at Kokopelli.

Someone looks like they know what they're doing, which is good since 18 hours of Fruita is next weekend...

Oh Garmin, My Garmin...

For those of you wondering where our newfound joy of gps tracking comes from...
It comes from our awesome new Garmin 550 (with Ridley modeling for scale).

Its touchscreen, waterproof, and picks up gps signals through a jersey pocket (does that cause cancer?).  It has already travelled to Vegas, the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, and Four Corners, and almost all the mountain biking in the Grand Valley.  Super Stamped!!!

Little Park Road

Monday was my first real (read all on pavement) road ride of the year.  I went up Little Park Road, which is the less travelled way up to the top of the Monument.  Another 15 miles along the road I was on and Id be in Utah.  soon....

Quest for the Perfect Waterfall...

A couple weeks ago we went out to Dominguez Canyon in search of this waterfall it's supposed to have.
I'm not sure if you knew this about me (Kelly), but along with fires, I reallly like waterfalls.

Unfortunately, we never found the waterfall. :( But the weather was great and the hike was pretty cool.

And the quest continues......
